Openings for candidates with a bachelor's degree and teaching/tutoring experience!

We're StudyPoint, a tutoring company focused on providing a personal, customized 1:1 experience for students since 1999. We help students throughout the United States who need academic tutoring support or are preparing for the high school or college admissions process. We're backed by our impressive and effective tools and resources that have helped over 55,000 students fulfill their goals!

StudyPoint is currently seeking tutors who can provide in-home academic support and homework help for elementary and middle school students for math, language arts, science, social studies, and other subjects.

Our elite tutoring staff:

· Are engaging and energetic while instructing students;

· Are responsive and communicate effectively with students, parents, and employees;

· Create a positive, safe learning environment;

· Are highly organized and adaptable to the needs of diverse learners;

· Have fun while helping students achieve their goals.

StudyPoint’s expert tutors have the following qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree

· A minimum of 2 years of teaching and/or tutoring experience, preferably with K-8;

· Encouraging, thoughtful, dynamic personalities - patience is a must!

· Strong academic background - preference for classroom teachers/paraprofessionals;

· Confidence teaching the reading, writing, and math skills covered in the elementary and middle grades;

· Reliable car access to travel to students’ homes.

· Design your own schedule and service area: You choose when you tutor and where you are willing to travel.

· Be an employee, not a contractor: All of our tutors are W-2 employees, not 1099 contractors, and you’ll receive paid training.

· Dedicated Support: You will have a manager as well as a mentor who are there to support you each step of the way.

· No non-compete: You are free to continue with your private tutoring or tutoring with other organizations in addition to working with our students.

Typical Hours:

Prime tutoring hours generally fall outside of school hours and on weekends. Your availability should include 6 or more hours per week and should be primarily be in the following time blocks:

Monday-Friday: 3pm-9pm
Saturday/Sunday: 9am-9pm

Where we Tutor: We tutor in the following towns in your area: Dallas, Fort Worth, Richardson, Garland, Arlington, Plano, McKinney, Frisco, Carrollton, Farmers Branch, Denton, Keller, Southlake. Being able to cover some of these towns will help ensure that we are able to pair you with in-home students!
