Shape the Future of Patient Access at One of Texas' Fastest-Growing Behavioral Health Organizations

As we continue expanding across Texas, we're looking for an experienced Regional Director of Patient Access to lead the strategy, operations, and growth of our centralized Patient Access Center. This is more than an admissions leadership role, it's an opportunity to transform how patients and families access care while building scalable systems that support one of the fastest-growing behavioral health organizations in the state.

What You'll Do

Develop and execute the enterprise-wide Patient Access strategy.
Build scalable systems supporting organizational growth.
Lead and develop a high-performing Patient Access team.
Drive accountability through coaching, mentorship, and performance management
Oversee centralized intake, scheduling, insurance verification, authorizations, and crisis response.
Optimize staffing models and workflows.
Improve patient throughput and admission conversion.
Ensure an exceptional patient and family experience.
Own KPIs including lead conversion, admissions conversion, speed to answer, patient access times, call center performance, referral attribution, and patient satisfaction.
Use analytics to drive strategic decisions and continuous improvement.
Partner with executive leadership to support continued growth across Texas.
Partner with Clinical Operations, Outreach, Marketing, Revenue Cycle, Utilization Management, and Executive Leadership to create a seamless patient journey.

What We're Looking For:

Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
7+ years of leadership experience in Patient Access, Admissions, Revenue Cycle, or Healthcare Operations.
Experience leading multi-site teams.
Knowledge of insurance verification, prior authorizations, payer processes, and admissions operations.
Strong analytical, leadership, and change management skills.

Preferred Experience

Behavioral health experience.
Experience in psychiatric hospitals, residential treatment, PHP/IOP, or substance use treatment.
Healthcare call center or centralized admissions leadership.
