I. JOB SUMMARY

You have 5 years in the US Military, have at least 6 months experience in a residential treatment facility, hospital, sober living environment, or a department of corrections, and prior experience in Drill Sergeant school or equivalent. You are passionate about helping people understand, embrace, and live out the Great Commandment and the Great Commission. You are driven, positive, and an authentic individual who is committed to excellence in all you do and looking for a rewarding job to make a difference in an impoverished area in South Dallas. To be a successful member of our team, you should have a strong work ethic, take initiative, and be moved to action by the mission of MON, namely prioritizing being with and the oversight of the clients.

The role of a Lead Non-Commission Officer at The Men of Nehemiah is to train the clients in military protocol following a set of guidelines of treatment from our healthcare professionals. The Lead Non-Commission Officer must also carry out administrative tasks which include producing reports, completing assessments, answering inquiries, and keeping records.

II. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Understands all MON Policies and Procedures, Manages and Reports Barracks Living Conditions, Maintains and Updates Reports, and performs complete Ceremony Training, and leads as Chair of the Tribunal Function
Reports all Critical Information to the Military Director, Follows Discharge Protocol, Assists Tech Team with Inspection Outcomes, maintains Uniform and Ranking Supplies
Assists with and/or Manages NCO training, Understands all MON Policies and Procedures, Manages and Reports Inspections/Barracks Living Conditions, Maintains and Updates Reports.
Physically able to lead physical training, marching and Drill
Reports all Critical Information to the Military Director, Follows Discharge Protocol, Assists Tech Team with Inspection Outcomes, maintains Uniform and Ranking Supplies
Understands the Limitations of Clients, and initiates Client Write-ups when needed

III. QUALIFICATIONS AND PREFERENCES

5 years in the US Military Required (Staff Sergeant and above)
6 months experience in a residential treatment facility, hospital, sober living environment, or a department of corrections a plus.
Prior experience in US Military Drill Sergeant school or equivalent required

IV. WORKING CONDITIONS

Part-Time could lead to a full-time position: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 5AM until 9AM.
MON employees are encouraged (not required) to attend All-City Worship on Tuesdays and Bread of Hope on Sundays.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
