SHIFTS

We have a mix of shifts available from days, weekends, and some evenings and overnights. Open availability is best for this role. We also have 12 hour shifts for days and nights!

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Execute personalized client care plans and document daily activities
Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, toileting, lifting, and grooming
Provide household assistance such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and home safety monitoring
Support clients with personal care including hygiene, mobility assistance, medication reminders, and companionship
Build meaningful, trusting relationships with clients and their families
Represent Home Matters Caregiving with professionalism and compassion in every interaction
Commute up to 30 miles from your home for shifts; although most shifts will be closer

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Must be at least 20 years of age
Prior experience in caregiving, healthcare, or a care-related field is preferred but not required — we provide paid training
Genuine compassion for older adults and a reliable, professional work ethic
Oregon Home Care Worker (HCW) registration or willingness to obtain prior to start (we will help guide you through this process)
Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain — we can help)
Sufficient communication skills to effectively perform duties
Bilingual English/Spanish a strong plus — especially for shifts in our Woodburn and Marion County communities
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
Ability to lift 50 lbs. using safe, ergonomic movements
Ability to stand, walk, reach, crouch, and perform hands-on care tasks throughout a shift
Physically and mentally able to operate a vehicle safely
Must be able to pass required background check
Part time availability with option of full time hours as new clients come on

Pay: $20–$24/hour, depending on experience; CNAs welcome!
