Location: NH Community Hospital - Stokes - Danbury, North Carolina

Full-Time

Novant Health is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Specialist II to support departmental operations through high-level administrative and clerical tasks. Whether working independently or as part of a team, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring smooth day-to-day functions and serve as a trusted resource.

What You’ll Do:

Provide comprehensive administrative support to leadership and team members
Manage departmental communications, scheduling, and documentation
Contribute to a collaborative and efficient work environment
Vendor coordination
Invoice and work order management
Payroll and timekeeping

What We're Looking For:

Education

High School Diploma or GED (required)

Experience

Minimum of two years’ experience in a fast‑paced, multi‑tasking customer service or administrative environment (required)
Healthcare experience (preferred)
Payroll or timekeeping experience strongly preferred

Skills & Qualifications

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and related applications
Strong attention to detail and advanced computer skills
Ability to analyze data and identify solutions efficiently
Proven ability to protect private and confidential information
Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
