Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Head Chef to lead our culinary team and elevate our dining experience. Duties

Lead and supervise the entire kitchen team, fostering a positive and productive work environment
Develop innovative menus that highlight culinary creativity while maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation
Oversee food preparation, cooking, and plating to ensure consistency, flavor, and visual appeal
Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, tracking stock levels, and minimizing waste through effective food management practices
Implement and uphold strict food safety sanitizing procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations
Coordinate catering events and banquet services, ensuring seamless execution from setup to service
Monitor kitchen operations during shifts, managing staffing schedules and ensuring timely food service delivery
Maintain cost control measures while balancing quality standards to optimize profitability
Train and mentor kitchen staff on culinary techniques, safety protocols, and customer service standards
Collaborate with management on menu planning, pricing strategies, and special promotions

Qualifications

Proven experience in fine dining environments with a strong background in food production and restaurant management
Extensive banquet experience along with catering expertise is highly desirable
Demonstrated supervising experience managing kitchen teams in fast-paced settings
Solid knowledge of dietary department requirements and food handling safety procedures
Expertise in inventory management, cost control, and kitchen operations management
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative environment
Excellent skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and culinary innovation
Familiarity with food service management systems and inventory control tools
Experience in managing shifts effectively while maintaining high standards of hospitality and service quality
Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and regulatory compliance within the food industry
