Front Desk Coordinator (Part-Time, Year-Round) - Tai Chi Acupuncture & Wellness Center (TCAWC)

Location: Position split between our North Reading and Danvers clinics. Reliable transportation between both locations is required.

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Job Summary

Tai Chi Acupuncture & Wellness Center is looking for a warm, reliable front desk team member to support our North Reading and Danvers clinics.

This is a patient-facing role focused on creating a welcoming, organized, and smooth experience for everyone who walks through our doors.

We are a small, collaborative team and are seeking someone who enjoys working with people, values clear communication, and is interested in becoming a long-term member of our front desk team.

This is an ongoing, year-round part-time position. We are seeking someone interested in a stable, longer-term role and are not currently hiring for seasonal or temporary employment.

What You'll Do

Greet and check in patients
Schedule and manage appointments
Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries
Collect payments and support check-out
Help keep the center as a whole calm, clean, and organized
Support basic insurance verification, documentation, and patient communication using established workflows (training provided)

What We're Looking For

Friendly, calm, and professional with patients
Organized and dependable
Comfortable multitasking in a busy environment
Strong communication skills (in person, on the phone, and by email)
Previous front desk, administrative, customer service, hospitality, or healthcare office experience preferred
Comfortable working independently and managing responsibilities with minimal supervision
Comfortable learning and following structured processes
Looking for stable, ongoing part-time employment

Schedule

Approximately 10–20 hours per week split between North Reading and Danvers.
Year-round position (not seasonal or temporary)
Current availability on Monday and Tuesday mornings and Thursdays is strongly preferred
Saturday availability preferred
Occasional opportunities for additional coverage hours may become available
