Job Title: IT Associate Technology Analyst - Dealer Application Support (Hybrid)

Location: East Moline, IL 61244 (Hybrid - 4 Days Onsite / 1 Day Remote)

Pay Rate: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour on W2

Duration: 12 Months Contract

Shift: 1st Shift | Monday – Friday | Standard Business Hours

Job Summary

We are seeking an IT Associate Technology Analyst / Dealer Application Support Specialist to join our team in East Moline, IL. In this hybrid role (4 days onsite, 1 day remote), you will serve as a Dealer Business Specialist primarily responsible for application support, issue analysis, and functional system troubleshooting for dealer partners and business users.

Moving beyond standard desktop/hardware support, you will analyze business software tickets, guide users through application processes, troubleshoot system workflows, and utilize basic accounting/financial concepts to resolve dealer software inquiries.

Key Responsibilities

Application & Dealer Support: Provide Tier 1/Tier 2 software application support for dealer-facing business systems, analyzing user issues and resolving tickets within established processes.
Functional Issue Analysis: Investigate application errors, analyze business software behavior, and communicate technical/functional solutions clearly to dealers and business partners.
Financial & Accounting Application Alignment: Utilize a foundational understanding of bookkeeping, general ledger, reconciliations, and financial statements to assist dealers with accounting software features and reporting.
Process Execution & Escalation: Follow documented ITIL/service desk escalation paths, logging issue details, tracking ticket statuses, and escalating complex bugs to senior engineering teams.
Continuous Learning: Develop deep functional knowledge of proprietary dealer management platforms, system integration points, and security protocols (MFA/Identity Management).

Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in an Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related discipline (or equivalent professional experience).
Application Support Experience: 1+ years of experience supporting software applications or business systems, including issue analysis and ticket resolution.
Customer / Service Desk Experience: 1+ years of experience working in an IT service desk, application support, or technical customer support environment.
Financial / Accounting Fundamentals: Foundational understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), including bookkeeping, general ledger, reconciliations, and financial statements.
Communication & Technical Skills: Clear verbal and written communication skills to translate technical information for business users; understanding of computer security concepts and MFA.
Note: Candidates who ONLY have basic hardware, network, or desktop support experience will not fit this role—proven software application support experience is required.

Preferred Qualifications

Exposure to dealership operations or dealer-facing business software applications.
Familiarity with Microsoft technologies (Office Suite, Power Platform, or Dynamics 365).
Working knowledge of SQL for basic data querying, data analysis, or troubleshooting.
Awareness of API concepts, system integrations, and ITIL/Lean Service Management frameworks.
