Job Overview

McGregor Surmount Corporation is a growing electronics manufacturing services (EMS) company specializing in printed circuit board assemblies, cable assemblies, electromechanical assemblies, and supply chain solutions for commercial, industrial, and defense customers. We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounting Administrative Assistant to support our Accounting and Operations teams.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys organization, accuracy, and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial and inventory records while providing administrative support across multiple departments.

Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable

· Enter customer payments accurately into the ERP system.

· Assist with invoice processing and customer account maintenance.

· Support collections documentation and customer account reconciliation.

· Maintain organized customer accounting files.

Accounts Payable

· Enter supplier invoices into the accounting system.

· Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documents.

· Assist with vendor statement reconciliation.

· Maintain vendor files and payment documentation.

Inventory & ERP Data Entry

· Enter inventory transactions accurately into the ERP system.

· Assist with inventory adjustments and cycle count documentation.

· Maintain inventory records and supporting documentation.

· Support physical inventory activities.

· Enter miscellaneous inventory and material transactions.

Vendor & Supplier Administration

· Create and maintain supplier records.

· Update vendor information and documentation.

· Assist with supplier onboarding and record maintenance.

· Maintain purchasing and vendor filing systems.

Administrative Support

· File accounting, purchasing, and inventory documents.

· Scan and electronically organize records.

· Prepare spreadsheets and reports using Microsoft Excel.

· Answer phones and assist visitors as needed.

· Support Finance, Purchasing, and Operations with administrative tasks.

· Assist with month-end and year-end accounting activities.

· Perform additional bookkeeping and administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications

· High school diploma or GED required.

· Manufacturing experience is a plus.

· Experience with ERP systems is preferred (Epicor experience is a plus).

· Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.

· Excellent organizational and time management skills.

· High attention to detail and accuracy.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.

· Ability to maintain confidentiality with financial information.
