Full Job Description

Position: Claims Coordinator

Location: Dayton, Ohio (in office)

About the Role: We are looking for a detail-oriented Claims Coordinator to join our Claims department. No prior claims experience is required we are looking for someone organized, reliable, and eager to grow within the claims function.

Who are we looking for: Thoughtful, driven teammates who can join our mission to redefine the insurance industry. We focus on impactful work, relationships, and growth. Candidates should be comfortable using tech-forward tooling.

Responsibilities:

Monitor and review claims activity daily
Report on findings from our claims database and apply insights to improve the effectiveness of our underwriting team
Recommend changes in our claims handling philosophy to the insurance operations team
Onboard agency partners claims management platform
Facilitate communication between our clients’ claims professionals and our claims adjusters
Help develop and implement new loss control measures for existing programs

Experience:

1 - 5 years of related insurance experience
Maintain the TPA action item tracker deadlines, owners, escalation thresholds, and status updates in real time
Support biweekly TPA calls logging outcomes and sending agendas in advance
Produce monthly claims trend reports covering frequency, severity, reserve movement, and open action items
Flag reserve changes over threshold
