Overview:

Next Door Beach Bistro is an elevated Modern American concept in Flagler Beach. Serving fresh seafood, steaks, duck, lobster and more. We are voted #1 on Trip Advisor in this area.

The Golden Lion Cafe is a high volume casual seafood restaurant restaurant located on the beach. We are family owned and operated for 33 years.

We are seeking a talented Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation, and maintaining a positive work environment. Applicants need to be dependable and hands on.

Duties:
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation
- Train and supervise kitchen staff
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Assist in inventory management and ordering supplies
- Help maintain kitchen equipment and facilities

- Keep the kitchen clean

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role
- Strong culinary skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques
- Leadership abilities with experience in team management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of kitchen management and food safety regulations
- Experience supervising kitchen staff
