Full Job Description

Accounts Receivable Clerk

A fast-paced contract manufacturer of personal care and over-the-counter (OTC) drug products, is seeking a full-time Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our accounting department at our Daytona Beach facility. This is an on-site, day-shift position with room for growth within the company.

Responsibilities include:

Processing customer invoices and accounts receivable transactions
Posting and applying customer payments
Reconciling customer accounts and researching discrepancies
Assisting with customer deductions, credits, and account issues
Communicating with customers regarding invoices and payments
Maintaining accurate accounting records and assisting with other accounting duties as needed

Experience with EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) is a strong plus. Many large retailers use EDI to electronically exchange purchase orders, invoices, shipping information, and other transaction documents. Experience working with large retail customers, EDI systems, or retailer vendor portals is a plus.

Qualifications:

Previous accounts receivable or accounting experience
QuickBooks experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
Good typing and data-entry skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Good communication skills

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
