Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic team in delivering exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, excellent customer relations skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This role involves providing attentive service, ensuring food safety standards, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. Prior experience in fine dining or hospitality is preferred, along with familiarity with various POS systems and food industry best practices.

Duties

Take accurate orders from guests using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable.
Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.
Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities.
Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times.
Assist with bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the restaurant.
Provide exceptional guest services by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and fostering guest relations.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
Manage cash handling accurately during transactions and process payments efficiently.
Support host/hostess duties when needed, including seating guests and managing reservations.
Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude during all interactions with guests and team members.

Experience

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings.
Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable is preferred.
Experience in sales, upselling techniques, and guest relations will be advantageous.
Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and basic math skills related to cashiering are essential.
Prior roles such as host/hostess or bussing staff can provide valuable experience for this position.
Candidates should demonstrate strong time management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service across various hospitality settings.
