Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations at our bustling dining establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of food service management, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage a team in a fast-paced environment, ensuring smooth restaurant functioning while maintaining high standards of food safety, quality, and service excellence.

Duties

Lead and supervise restaurant staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating team members to foster a motivated and efficient workforce.
Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring adherence to company policies, health and safety regulations, and food safety standards.
Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability.
Handle cash management duties such as POS transactions using systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring accurate cash handling and reconciliation.
Coordinate food preparation and kitchen operations to maintain high-quality culinary standards across casual dining, fine dining, catering, or banquet services.
Supervise food production, presentation, and service to ensure customer satisfaction.
Oversee shift management to ensure smooth transitions between shifts with proper staffing levels.
Implement staff training programs focused on food handling, safety protocols, customer service excellence, and operational procedures.
Monitor customer feedback and address concerns promptly to uphold the restaurant’s reputation for outstanding hospitality.
Assist in budgeting and financial planning to meet business goals while controlling costs related to food management and labor.

Qualifications

Proven experience in restaurant management or hospitality management roles with a strong background in food service operations.
Extensive knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS.
Demonstrated leadership skills with experience supervising teams in quick service & fast food restaurants or fine dining environments.
Strong understanding of food safety standards, inventory control, and food handling procedures.
Excellent communication skills with experience in interviewing, staff training & development, and team management.
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining high standards of customer service.
Culinary experience or kitchen management background is preferred but not required.
Experience with budgeting, cost control, and food production processes is highly desirable.
Hospitality industry experience including hotel or catering environments is a plus. This position offers an engaging work environment where leadership qualities are valued and professional growth is encouraged for those passionate about the food industry and exceptional hospitality service.
