Summary

perform data entry by operating a computer keyboard to enter data from customer purchase orders, blueprints, operation sheets, or other forms of communication (i.e. emails, verbal) creating a sales order in “global shop business management software”. reporting to general manager (gm)

Essential Functions

read customer purchase orders (po) and enters pertinent information into the computer/system.
communicate with customer(s) when “key” information is missing or unclear.
identifies repeat orders and correctly assigns existing process information to the job.
when approved by their supervisor, assigns “standard routers” to new jobs based on purchase order requirements and submits routers to approved planning personnel for review prior to moving the job to the production floor.

be able and willing to read and write in the english language.
perform basic computer skills.
must type 60 wpm.
thrives in a busy environment.
calm and collected under pressure.
experience with handling high volume data entry with strong detail.
excellent customer service skills.
ability to adapt and multi-task.
reliable, efficient, organized.
demonstrates a “can do” attitude.
able and willing to lift up to 25lbs.
vision, corrected to at least 20/40 (snellen chart std).
