Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head Cook to lead and oversee all aspects of our Catering operations. This pivotal role requires a passionate leader with a strong background in food service management, culinary arts, and hospitality. As the Head Cook, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional dining experiences, maintaining high standards of food quality and safety, and managing a talented team dedicated to excellence. Your energetic leadership will drive the success of our Catering department, fostering a positive environment that emphasizes teamwork, innovation, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise all kitchen activities, including food preparation, service, and staff management
Develop and implement menu planning strategies that highlight culinary creativity and meet dietary requirements
Oversee kitchen operations, ensuring adherence to food safety standards and proper handling procedures
Manage inventory control and procurement processes to optimize food costs and minimize waste
Coordinate catering events, banquet services, and fine dining experiences with precision and professionalism
Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to promote skill development and maintain high-performance standards
Ensure smooth shift management by scheduling staff effectively and overseeing daily operations with energy and focus

Experience

Extensive experience in food production, restaurant management, or hospitality leadership roles
Proven supervising experience within a busy culinary or food service environment
Strong background in banquet experience, catering, or fine dining settings
Knowledge of inventory management, food safety protocols, and kitchen operations
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative work environment
Familiarity with dietary department procedures and food handling regulations
Hands-on experience in menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen management within the food industry
