Position Overview:

Censys Technologies is seeking an experienced and proactive Aerospace Project Manager to lead cross-functional teams in the development, production, and deployment of cutting-edge Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS). This role involves managing complex projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with technical specifications, budget constraints, and timeline requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aerospace project management, particularly within the drone industry, and possess excellent leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Execution

Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
Lead cross-functional teams through the entire project lifecycle, from concept to delivery.
Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, and supply chain teams to ensure project objectives are met.
Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions as necessary to stay on track.

Stakeholder Management

Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
Facilitate regular communication and reporting to keep all parties informed of project status and developments.
Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment with project goals.

Risk Management and Compliance

Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
Conduct regular audits and reviews to maintain quality and compliance throughout the project.

Continuous Improvement

Analyze project outcomes to identify areas for improvement.
Implement lessons learned in future project planning and execution.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the project team.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in project management, with a significant portion in the aerospace, defense, or technology sectors.
Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies (e.g., PMBOK), and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, MS Project).
Expert proficiency in SCRUM and Agile methodologies. Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or similar Agile certification is highly desirable.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Proven experience managing complex hardware and software development projects simultaneously.
Demonstrable experience in performing Earned Value Management (EVM) and analysis.

Preferred Qualifications:

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Experience with Department of Defense (DoD) projects and familiarity with military standards and regulations.
Proficiency in risk management and quality assurance processes.
Experience managing hardware and software projects highly preferred.

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
