Overview

Join our dynamic retail team as a Retail Associate and Notary Public, where you'll be the friendly face that enhances customer experiences while providing essential notary services. This role offers an exciting opportunity to combine retail expertise with professional notarization, ensuring smooth transactions and building lasting customer relationships. Duties

Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting shoppers, answering questions, and guiding them through product selections.
Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process retail sales transactions accurately and swiftly.
Assist with stocking shelves, merchandising displays, and maintaining an organized store environment.
Handle cash register operations including cash handling, cash drawer balancing, and receipts management with precision.
Provide notary public services by verifying identities, witnessing signatures, and executing official documents in compliance with legal standards.
Promote upselling opportunities by recommending complementary products and special offers to maximize sales.

Requirements

Prior experience with retail sales, cashiering, or grocery store operations is highly desirable, but not necessary.
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers confidently in English and bilingual capabilities are a plus.
Demonstrated proficiency in POS systems, retail math, and cash handling procedures.
Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions and inventory management.
Excellent phone etiquette and professional demeanor when interacting with customers and team members.
Valid notary public certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire; familiarity with legal documentation procedures is advantageous.
