Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Bookkeeping where your expertise will drive accurate financial record-keeping and seamless payroll processing. In this vital role, you will support the accounting functions of our organization by managing day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, ensuring compliance with financial standards, and facilitating efficient payroll operations. Your contributions will help maintain the integrity of our financial data and support the overall health of our organization’s fiscal management. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills within a collaborative environment committed to excellence and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Perform detailed bookkeeping duties including journal entries, account analysis, and general ledger accounting using various accounting software such as QuickBooks.
Reconcile bank statements, balance sheets, and general ledger accounts regularly to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections while maintaining accurate records.
Process payroll accurately and efficiently, including tax calculations, deductions, and compliance with relevant regulations.
Conduct account reconciliation tasks such as bank reconciliation and account analysis to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
Maintain meticulous records of all financial transactions, journal entries, and audit trails in accordance with organizational policies.
Utilize technical accounting skills to support complex financial concepts such as double entry bookkeeping, general ledger reconciliation, and account analysis.

Qualifications

Proven experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Taxdome , or similar platforms.
Demonstrated ability in balance sheet reconciliation, bank reconciliation, account reconciliation, and general ledger accounting.
Knowledge of financial concepts including debits & credits, journal entries, double entry bookkeeping, and account analysis.
Experience handling accounts payable/receivable processes along with payroll management including tax experience related to payroll processing.
Proficiency in 10 key typing for efficient data entry; excellent attention to detail for accurate account analysis.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
