Full Job Description

Salary Exempt House Manager Job Description –

This position is working for a Residential Assisted Living Facility that houses residents who have acquired a Traumatic Brain Injury.

Oversight of all operations of the home and maintain company vehicle(s).
Ensuring quality services are provided to the individuals who reside in the home.
Supervise staff, responsible for training and scheduling staff and covering shifts, as necessary.
Coordinates trainings for staff to ensure their certifications are current and all trainings up to date.
Manage the Direct Support staff, including, but not limited to, staff evaluations, counseling/corrective action forms, monitoring and scheduling required staff trainings.
Financial custodian – distribute resident personal funds and/or petty cash to staff, oversee the residential budget and ensure all receipts are submitted to the finance department.
Complete staff schedules and schedule all mandatory staff meetings. Participate in staff orientation.
Attend leadership meetings.
Schedule and facilitate quarterly care plan meetings. Advocate for the individuals in the home.
Ensure daily living skills training, community activities and recreation are being met.
Maintain daily, monthly, and annual required documentation (must be comfortable with electronic documentation systems). Responsible for ensuring all the required documentation and reporting is complete, timely and accurate.
In charge of implementation, documentation and review of individual service plan, MAR, physician visit records and other therapeutic or facilitative procedures and programs.
Daily overview of MARs, medication reconciliation and weekly medication cart audit.
Oversees medical appointments and ensures follow-up is complete.
All manager positions involve hands-on work that requires you to assist with all areas including personal hygiene, medication administration, daily household chores and support in the community.
Conducts resident tours with potential residents. Ensures all documents are completed and received for admissions. Meets with resident on day of admission to welcome and to ensure a positive admission experience.
Uphold Colorado license requirements, home inspections, audits, licensing review and preparation.
Cooperate with the Agency and Department staff in any inspection or investigation.
Administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, oversee inventory and ordering supplies.
Communicating with other programs/agencies regarding residents' care/needs.
On call after hours/weekends. Works irregular hours and as needed. Manager is a salary employee and exempt from overtime.
