About Our Company
This position is posted by LLB on behalf of Surge, a marketing and sales firm that partners with both locally and nationally recognized brands across multiple industries and nonprofit organizations to help expand their reach.

About the Role

We are hiring outgoing and motivated individuals to join our team as Community Outreach Associates. In this role, you will represent nonprofit organizations at local events, pop-ups, and community outreach campaigns.

This is a people-focused, in-person position where you’ll have face-to-face conversations to raise awareness and help generate support for meaningful causes.

If you enjoy working with people, being active during the workday, and building real communication skills, this could be a great fit.

What You’ll Do

Represent nonprofit partners at community events, retail pop-ups, and public outreach locations
Start conversations and educate the public about current campaigns and programs
Help supporters get involved through donations, sign-ups, and advocacy
Work with a team to meet daily and weekly outreach goals
Attend ongoing training in communication, leadership, and campaign development

What This Job Is (and Isn’t)

This role is:

In-person and public-facing
Fast-paced and team-oriented
Focused on communication, outreach, and fundraising support

This role is not:

Remote or desk-based
Door-to-door sales

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for people who are:

Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable talking with new people
Reliable and coachable with a strong work ethic
Interested in nonprofits, events, marketing, or communication skills
Able to work full-time and commute to daily work locations

Customer service, retail, hospitality, or leadership experience is a plus — but not required. We provide full training.
