Boulder Implants & Periodontics is a growing private specialty dental practice. We are committed to providing top-quality dental care in a warm and welcoming environment. Our team of dedicated professionals strives to ensure every patient has a positive experience from the moment they walk through our doors. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and personable Patient Care Coordinator to join our dynamic team.

Job Summary:

The Patient Care Coordinator is a crucial member of our practice, responsible for managing patient interactions, coordinating appointments, and ensuring smooth operations within the dental office. This role requires excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and a strong attention to detail to provide exceptional patient service and support our clinical team.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Interaction: Greet and assist patients in a friendly and professional manner, both in-person and over the phone.
Appointment Scheduling: Coordinate and manage patient appointments, including scheduling, rescheduling, and confirming appointments.
Patient Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Communication: Act as a liaison between patients and dental staff, ensuring clear and effective communication regarding treatment plans, procedures, and follow-up care. Work in tandem with our Insurance Specialist and Treatment Coordinator to deliver an exceptional patient experience.
Customer Service: Address and resolve patient concerns and complaints promptly and professionally to ensure a positive patient experience.
Assist patients with completing necessary forms and gathering relevant information.
Collect estimated patient portions upon date of service.
Prepare patient information ahead of next business day.
Post insurance claims

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a dental office.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in dental practice management software and basic computer skills.
Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and insurance processes.
Previous experience with Treatment Planning and Insurance is preferred.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
A positive attitude and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Benefits:
Employees are eligible for benefits after three months of employment, including paid time off, paid holidays, a contribution to the medical insurance of your choice, in-house dental care, and lunch provided every Wednesday. A retirement benefits plan will be offered in compliance with the Colorado Secure Savings Program.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
