Full Job Description

THE ROLE:

We are seeking Box Office staff who are friendly multi-taskers with great customer service skills. Must have cashier and customer service experience, as well as being consistent and punctual. The box office cashiers’ main responsibilities are to ensure that all guests entering the venue have been charged properly and promptly. This role requires the ability to troubleshoot and deal with guest problems in a professional manner. Must be a team player with good communication skills.

Our expanding roster of club partners includes some of the world's top venues, delivering performances from globally renowned DJs backed by top-notch sound and visuals. The diverse calendar of events celebrates the electronic dance music community and culture, offering an endless range of experiences.

Insomniac Clubs is a separate entity from Insomniac Events, focused on curating and managing unique nightlife experiences. While we share a passion for music and creating unforgettable experiences, Insomniac Clubs operates independently from Insomniac Events and has its own payroll, benefits and organizational structure.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Set up box office counter.

· Properly communicate ticket prices to ensure accurate ticket sales.

· Follow club-specific VIP check-in protocol.

· Issue the correct wristband quantity and color.

· Issue the correct number of drink tickets per guest.

· Precise cash handling for clubs that are not cashless.

· Calmly communicate with potentially agitated or upset customers.

· Maintain effective communication with management.

· Adhere to proper close-out procedures.

· Verify that all guests have a valid ticket.

· Confirm that the number of guests entering the club matches the number of tickets

scanned.

· Ensure all guests adhere to proper entry protocol.

· Quickly and clearly communicate with management and security if anything appears

unusual.

· Guide guests into the proper lines.

· Support onboarding and training new team members

· In addition to the responsibilities listed above, the employee may be assigned other duties or tasks as needed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

· Customer Service: 2 years (Preferred)

· Cash Handling: 2 years (Preferred)

· Ability to work Nigh Shift, Evening Shift & Weekends as needed

Our company takes into consideration a candidate’s education, training, and experience, as well as the position’s work location, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value, including seniority and merit systems, and internal pay alignment when determining the salary level for potential new employees.
