Job Summary

We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Inventory & Logistics Coordinator to take ownership of the day-to-day movement and accuracy of inventory throughout our operation.

This is a hands-on position that combines inventory control, receiving, shipping, cycle counting, and ERP system work. You will help ensure that what we physically have on the floor matches what our system shows we have—and when it doesn't, you will investigate the issue and help determine the cause.

The right person for this role is organized, comfortable working with computers and inventory systems, enjoys solving problems, and takes pride in getting things right. You should be someone who notices when something doesn't look right and is willing to dig into the details until you understand what happened.

Receiving

Receive incoming materials and verify quantities, part numbers, and condition against purchase orders and packing slips.
Enter received materials accurately into the ERP/inventory system.
Identify and communicate discrepancies, damaged materials, or incorrect shipments.
Ensure received materials are properly labeled, organized, and moved to the appropriate location.
Work with Purchasing and other departments to resolve receiving issues.

Shipping & Logistics

· Pick, pack, weigh, label, and stage outbound shipments accurately and efficiently.

· Prepare shipments using UPS, FedEx, LTL, and other carriers as required.

· Prepare and maintain shipping documentation, including packing lists, Bills of Lading, and international customs documentation when needed.

· Verify shipments before they leave the facility to ensure the correct products and quantities are being shipped.

· Assist with coordinating the movement of materials throughout the facility.

Inventory Control & Cycle Counting

· Perform scheduled daily and weekly cycle counts of raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods.

· Research and resolve inventory discrepancies by reviewing system transactions, receiving records, shipping records, and physical inventory.

· Maintain accurate inventory locations and ensure materials are stored in their designated locations.

· Identify the root causes of inventory variances and communicate issues to the appropriate departments.

· Assist with inventory adjustments and reconciliation within the ERP system.

· Help identify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy and processes.

· Maintain organized and accurate inventory records.

What We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone who is organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking ownership of their work.

· Inventory Auditing or Cycle Counting

Qualifications

· High school diploma or GED equivalent.

· 2+ years of experience in receiving and shipping

· Experience with inventory control, cycle counting, or inventory reconciliation preferred.

· Experience working with an ERP or inventory management system required.

· Experience with RF scanners/barcode systems preferred.

· Forklift experience preferred; OSHA certification is a plus.

· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

· Comfortable working with computers, inventory data, and numbers.

· Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to investigate discrepancies.

· Ability to communicate effectively with multiple departments.

· Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment

This is an on-site position in Lockport, NY.

The role requires the ability to:

· Lift and carry parts or materials weighing up to 50 pounds.

· Stand and walk for extended periods.

· Operate material-handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.

· Perform repetitive physical tasks when needed.

· Use computers and office equipment for extended periods.

· Demonstrate good manual dexterity and safely use basic hand tools and equipment.

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
