About the Role

We are hiring a full-time Supported Employment Service Coordinator for our Polk County Program. The Supported Employment Service Coordinator oversees the delivery of high-quality job coaching services to customers for successful workplace orientation and job retention. This is a leadership position reporting directly to the Program Director. In this vital role, you will use your discretion and good judgment to lead a team of staff, ensuring that services align with our mission and meet applicable regulatory standards.

What You Will Achieve

· Customer Empowerment: Coordinate and approve all admissions, conduct assessments, and lead the service planning process based on individual customer desires and goals.

· Team Leadership: Supervise, coach, and develop team leaders and job coaches, including interviewing, hiring, disciplining, and terminating employees as needed.

· Program Compliance: Ensure comprehensive customer records comply with DIA, DHS, CARF, and other relevant standards.

· Safety & Support: Coordinate procedures to provide for the health and safety of customers.

· Strategic Growth: Work with administration to implement service improvements, achieve financial objectives, and market Optimae services.

Qualifications

Experience & Education:

Must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid Driver's License.
A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required
A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university if preferred
With a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, a minimum of one (1) year of experience in the delivery, planning, coordination, or administration of human services is required.
With an associate’s degree in a human services field, a minimum of two (2) years experience in the delivery, planning, coordination, or administration of human services is required.
With a high school diploma or GED, a minimum of three (3) years of experience in the delivery, planning, coordination, or administration of human services is required.
Must complete 9.5 hours of employment services training as offered thorough Direct Course or through ACRA certified training program within six months of hire.
Must complete 4 hours of continuing education in employment services annually, on a rolling year calendar that begins after 9.5 hours are completed.
Must meet the education requirements and earn the professional certificate of completion required within 24 months from the date of hire.
Basic computer proficiency is essential: MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook.)
Experience working with people with disabilities is preferred.
