GTC Energy, a sales and development firm, needs a Retail Account Associate to guide customers through their energy-rate options. The Retail Account Associate will approach customers to discuss smarter, fixed-rate energy options before the next price hike hits. Successful sales happen when the Retail Account Associate shows customers that budgeting shouldn't mean sitting in the dark with a single candle.

As a Retail Account Associate, you'll learn how deregulated energy works. We promise it's not rocket science, more like slightly confusing middle school math. The Retail Account Associate practices sales daily, builds their account management skills, and discovers that successful sales mean knowing the difference between a real question and someone just stalling for time.

Core Functions of the Retail Account Associate

Greet customers with sales conversations that make it easy to discuss how their current energy account could be optimized.
Provide simple, patient guidance during in‑store rate comparisons, helping customers choose account options that support predictable monthly costs.
Assist with in‑store enrollment steps to ensure customers feel confident and supported as they update their accounts.
Address account inquiries with patience and clarity, strengthening trust and opening space for strategic sales dialogue.
Stay attentive to customer needs, using proactive communication to reinforce account satisfaction and long‑term retention.
Maintain a welcoming sales environment that encourages smooth account updates and sales conversations about home energy improvements.
