Full Job Description

Legal Graphicworks is hiring an AV and Equipment Technician in Chicago, Illinois who is ready to be a team player! This position is responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of audiovisual, presentation, and technical equipment used during court proceedings when needed. This is a great position for the employee who is interested to learn and grow their career with a great company.

Legal Graphicworks provides animations, graphics, courtroom technology, videography and court reporting services to attorneys nationally.

Litigation AV Technician

We are interviewing candidates with the following experience and skills.

We do not provide relocation. Must be located in the Chicago area.

Experience and Responsibilities:

Transport, set up, and test courtroom presentation equipment including projectors, monitors, video conferencing systems, audio systems, and evidence display tools.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly and discreetly to minimize disruption in proceedings.
Coordinate with attorneys, trial consultants, and court staff to ensure all equipment and technology needs are met.
Ability to manage video recordings of in person depositions and zoom depositions.
Maintain and inventory all technical equipment, ensuring it is in working order and ready for use.
Provide on-site and remote technical support as needed.
Stay current with courtroom technology trends, software updates, and best practices.

Requirements and Skills:

Strong technical background in audiovisual, IT, or related fields.
Experience with courtroom technology or litigation support preferred.
Ability to work in high-pressure environments and respond quickly to technical problems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to lift and transport equipment (up to 50 lbs).
Flexibility to work irregular hours depending on trial schedules.
Professional attitude
Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
Four year degree is a plus
