Full-Charge Bookkeeper

Location: Destin, Florida

Firm: GSOCPA, LLC – Strategic Tax & Advisory Solutions

GSOCPA is seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Full-Charge Bookkeeper to join our growing team. This role is pivotal in delivering accurate financials, seamless payroll, and a smooth client experience. If you're passionate about precision, thrive in a collaborative environment, and want to help clients feel confident in their numbers, we’d love to meet you.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple clients, including accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and journal entries
Prepare accurate financial statements for tax prep and advisory use
Manage payroll processing and quarterly filings
Perform bank and general ledger reconciliations with attention to detail and timeliness
Maintain organized records and documentation to support compliance and audit readiness
Leverage QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel for reporting, analysis, and client deliverables
Collaborate with our team to ensure clients receive exceptional service and strategic insight

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of hands-on bookkeeping experience (multi-client or firm experience preferred)
Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and payroll systems
Strong understanding of financial statement preparation
Degree in Accounting or related field preferred
Excellent communication skills and a team-first mindset
Ability to manage deadlines and juggle multiple client files with professionalism
