Utility Energy Services, LLC (UES) delivers high-value, cost-effective energy efficiency implementation solutions with a strong focus on safety, local investment, and exceptional customer service. Our team is dedicated to helping communities and clients reduce energy consumption and achieve sustainable results through practical, efficient solutions.

Position Details:

We are currently seeking a Project Coordinator to support commercial and industrial energy efficiency quality assurance/quality control programs across multiple channels. This role is key to the success of these QA/QC programs. This role requires employees to be in the office 90% of the time at either our Troy or Detroit office and is part of a team of subject matter experts who work directly with clients, stakeholders, customers, etc. Preference will be given for prior implementation experience in C&I energy efficiency and QA/QC.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the implementation of utility C&I energy efficiency QA/QC programs that incorporate verifying installation of energy efficiency equipment in C&I properties.
Work with Project Management team(s) to assist with development of policies and procedures for programs.
Coordinate program schedules and events in various capacities, especially as needed for field technicians.
Liaison with client(s) to identify and define program requirements, scope, and objectives, and ensure clients’ needs are met as the program evolves.
Assist with program documentation review, providing back-end/admin quality control and quality assurance duties related to the database that tracks all projects and their status for the programs.
Identify process improvements with a focus on continuous quality enhancements.
Active participation to collaborate on program changes and new client requirements that have an impact on the customer and contractor experience.
Manage customer or client escalations which may involve root cause analysis and other written responses that will be presented to the client and senior leadership for review.
Assist with reporting of key metrics that drive performance, identifying areas of continuous improvement, and implementing strategies to enhance our service deliverables.
Assist with design, development, and execution of detailed and effective implementation and management plans, process flows, and quality controls.
Assist in preparing forecasts, goals, and budgets.
Build and maintain relationships with clients to support further growth and lead business development activities.
Support the Project Manager and other leadership staff in various other capacities.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental studies, business, or similar field
2-5 years of relevant experience
Sound business ethics, including protection of propriety and confidential information
Excellent attention to detail
Exceptional customer service, active listening, and verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency with computers, MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel), and CRM software
Ability to work with all levels of internal staff, as well as outside clients
Strong time management and decision-making skills

Preferred Skills/Experience:

Prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules and action plans
Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities with the ability to identify existing or potential problems and recommend solutions
Ability to be self-directed and to take initiative to drive activities that advances continuous program improvement
Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond effectively to changing priorities

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
