What We’re Looking For

This position is responsible for providing a broad spectrum of support to the firm in a challenging and rewarding environment. Requirements include extensive people, communication, organizational, technical and process skills, and the ability to continuously prioritize multiple projects. Essential Job Functions

· Incoming / Outgoing Phone calls

· Scheduling Appointments

· Process and assemble tax returns, extensions, and estimates

· Provide administrative support to all departments in a manner that optimizes efficiency, resources, and client satisfaction

· Prepare tax organizers and engagement letters in accordance with firm's policies and procedures

· Prepare correspondence, proofread, and format documents using Microsoft Word & Excel

· Assist in maintaining databases, spreadsheets, project trackers, etc. to be current and accurate

· Coordinate with management to ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of workflows

· Work collaboratively to provide overflow and backup support for other team members

· Perform other duties as assigned by the Firm Administrator and Department Managers

Schedule

8-hour shift -Must be able to work set schedule of Monday through Friday 8:30AM – 5PM. Full time
Weekend shifts during month of February, March and April

Ability to commute/relocate

915 W Imperial Hwy Ste 120 Brea CA 92821: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Qualifications

High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Tax Office Receptionist/Assistant: 4 years (Preferred)
Flexibility to change direction frequently between tasks and between different clients/staff
Proven ability to work in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment and handle multiple projects while prioritizing, planning, and organizing projects simultaneously
Intermediate to advanced proficiency with all Microsoft applications – especially Microsoft Word & Excel
Flexibility to work additional hours during peak periods of the year
