Job Summary

Ag Worker Health & Services, founded in Montana in 1872, is seeking a medical receptionist in our Dillon, MT clinic. .We are seeking a person with the passion and skills to be the first point of contact for our patients, staff and visitors. Our agency is committed to providing high quality care and providing a positive experience from the moment our patients walk through our doors. This role is perfect for an organized, empathetic, and professional individual looking to play a vital role in providing medical, dental hygiene and behavioral health care in a team-based atmosphere. Agency's Mission: To improve the health status of agricultural workers and their families and others living in rural poverty.

Responsibilities

Greet patients and visitors warmly both in-person and on the phone, ensuring a positive first impression while managing check-in and check-out procedures
Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments using electronic health record, eClinical Works
Complete registration process, including gathering and verifying patient demographics and insurance information at each visit
Maintain and update patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality and proper documentation
Answer multi-line phone system with courteous phone etiquette, directing calls appropriately and taking detailed messages when necessary
Collect co-pays and outstanding balances
Collaborate with clinical staff and other team members to facilitiate smooth daily clinic operations and patient flow

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED
Prior experience in a medical office, customer service, or secretarial role is preferred
Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus working with our diverse patient population

Pay: $19.00 - $21.75 per hour
