Join Our Team as a Staff Accountant

At Mariela CPA & Associates, PLLC, we believe that clear financial insights are the backbone of a successful business. We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Staff Accountant to join our collaborative team. If you are someone who enjoys the art of balancing books and finding meaningful patterns in financial data, we would love to meet you.

As a Staff Accountant with us, you won’t just be crunching numbers; you will be a vital partner in helping our clients navigate their financial landscapes with confidence and clarity.

Your Role and Responsibilities

Clients: In this role, you will handle a diverse portfolio of client records and ensure every transaction is accounted for with precision
Financial Management: Managing day-to-day bookkeeping and the full cycle of accounting transactions.
Data Integrity: Organizing files and maintaining comprehensive records to support all financial transactions.
Software Expertise: Utilizing various modern accounting software platforms to perform essential functions efficiently.
Quality Control: Reviewing account books for maximum efficiency and pinpoint accuracy.
Reconciliations: Performing monthly bank, payroll, and fixed asset reconciliations to ensure everything aligns perfectly.
Payroll & Tax: Processing payroll and ensuring the timely remittance of tax payments.
Reporting: Preparing and reviewing financial statements to ensure they meet both our high standards and legal compliance requirements.
Strategic Analysis: Analyzing financial information to provide actionable recommendations for cost reduction and revenue enhancement.

Possesses a deep understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
