Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout their treatment. This role requires a strong understanding of various dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments to diagnose oral health issues.
Provide preventive care, including cleanings, sealants, and fluoride treatments.
Conduct restorative procedures such as fillings, crowns, and bridges.
Execute advanced procedures including root canal therapy and dental extractions.
Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants in a four-handed dentistry environment to enhance patient care.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with HIPAA standards.
Utilize medical imaging technology for diagnostics and treatment planning.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Manage pediatric patients with tailored approaches to ensure their comfort during visits.
Stay current with advancements in dentistry through continuous education and training.

Qualifications

Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
Proficiency in medical documentation and maintaining patient confidentiality.
Experience in a dental office setting is preferred but not mandatory.
Knowledge of prosthodontics is a plus.
Familiarity with medical imaging techniques is advantageous.
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and staff.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
