The Records Manager will be responsible for providing secretarial/computer services to Educational Opportunity Center (EOC) staff and program participants. They will provide direct administrative support to the Director and other project staff through effective office, data and records management. Position will be based in Ozark on the Alabama Aviation Campus.
1. Assist the director in all project fiscal and programmatic responsibilities.
2. Enter EOC administrative data into the computer for use in documenting program services and complying with federal
regulations.
3. Assist in preparation of reports to the college and Federal government as prescribed by local and federal guidelines.
4. Perform general office duties such as filing, copying, preparing mail-outs and brochures.
5. Maintain security and confidentiality of participant and project files.
6. Compose EOC program newsletter.
7. Assist students in completing forms necessary for enrollment in the EOC program.
8. Maintain file folders and records for individual students enrolled in the EOC program.
9. Manage the project supply and equipment inventory, to include ordering supplies and purchase order creation.
10. Maintain an accurate and current inventory of supplies used in the division.
11. Distribute, sort, and post mail coming into and going from the EOC.
12. Place outgoing and answer incoming telephone calls and refer calls to appropriate individuals.
13. Serve as a representative on appointed Enterprise State committees.
14. Assist in the supervision of tutors employed in EOC.
15. Maintain/coordinate Social Media accounts
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Minimum of Associate’s degree in office management, accounting, business management or closely related field
OR
2. High school diploma or equivalent and minimum of five (5) years experience working in an office environment.
SALARY:
Salary Schedule L $15-18/hr, based upon the Alabama Community College System Salary Schedule to be determined by the applicant’s education and years of applicable experience. Applicant acknowledges that if selected for the position that applicant’s placement on the applicable salary schedule will be dependent upon the verified information provided. (This is a grant-funded position. Continued employment is dependent on continued funding.)
