Wiregrass HomeCare is seeking a detail-oriented, dependable, and proactive team member to support our office operations, scheduling, and caregiver coordination. This is a key role that helps ensure our clients receive consistent, top-notch care by supporting staffing, communication, and day-to-day problem solving.
Wiregrass HomeCare (WHC) is the largest locally owned provider of nonmedical home care services in the area. Since 2016, WHC has provided services to a 5 county area (Geneva, Houston, Dale, Henry, and Coffee). Our team of Certified Nursing Assistants serves in homes, hospitals and assisted living facilities. WHC has strong partnerships with local home health and hospice agencies to deliver consistent, high quality care and support to our clients and families.
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong interest in team support and success. In this role, you will coordinate staffing schedules, assist with recruitment processes, and ensure optimal workforce allocation to meet client needs. Your efforts will contribute to maintaining an efficient, compliant, and engaged workforce environment.

Key Responsibilities
Scheduling Coordination (primary responsibility)
- Assist with building and maintaining caregiver schedules for a large team in WellSky
- Manage all logistics for open shifts and response to client needs
- Decision making related staff coordination, client needs, and staff performance reviews
- Maintain accurate caregiver and client data in WellSky
- Interpret statistical reports related to scheduling and operations to improve service and staffing
Caregiver & Client Support
- Phone coverage to provide excellent customer service
- Handle client needs by providing appropriate solutions and alternatives
- Answer caregiver questions and provide day-to-day support
- Help resolve routine issues and escalate when needed
- Maintain calm, professional and timely communication
Hiring & Onboarding
- Conduct initial caregiver screenings and interviews
- Assist with onboarding, paperwork and orientation
- Assist with maintaining compliant employee files
Schedule
- Monday - Friday
- Normal business hours (30 - 40 hours per week)
Qualifications (pay based on level of experience)
- Some college preferred
- Previous experience in office coordination, HR and/or scheduling a MUST. Two years minimum.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and the ability to quickly learn new systems (WellSky)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines and work independently
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work well with others on the team in a small office environment
