We are looking for a Dental OfficeFront Desk Receptionist to serve as our patients first point of contact and manage all aspects of their check in and check out. Their responsibilities include verifying insurances, get a detailed dental benfits breakdown registering patients, and able to manage heavy call volume in a very proficient and professional way. If you have a knack for customer service and work experience in the dental industry, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you will help create a pleasant and welcoming environment for our patients.

Greet and welcome patients with professionalism while providing an exceptional customer service experience.

Qualifications:

Greet and welcome patients with professionalism while providing an exceptional customer service experience.
Manage incoming phone calls, emails, text messages, and online appointment requests.
Schedule, confirm, and coordinate patient appointments while optimizing the provider's schedule.
Verify dental insurance eligibility and benefits prior to patient appointments (required).
Obtain and accurately document patient demographic and insurance information.
Prepare and submit insurance pre-authorizations/predeterminations for recommended treatment (required).
Present treatment plans and discuss financial arrangements with patients when appropriate. Experience with dental treatment planning is preferred.
Collect copayments, deductibles, and outstanding balances while explaining available payment options and financing.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all required forms are completed before appointments.
Coordinate with the clinical team to ensure efficient patient flow throughout the day.
Follow up on unscheduled treatment, overdue recalls, and missed appointments.
Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and protect patient confidentiality at all times.
Assist with administrative tasks, including scanning documents, filing, insurance correspondence, and maintaining a clean, organized front office.

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of dental front desk experience preferred.
Insurance eligibility verification and benefit breakdown experience is required.
Experience submitting insurance pre-authorizations/predeterminations is required.
Experience with treatment planning and financial presentations is strongly preferred.
Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
Outstanding customer service and patient relationship skills with a compassionate and professional demeanor.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Experience with Open Dental or similar dental practice management software is preferred.
Knowledge of PPO, and fee-for-service dental insurance plans is a MUST
Reliable, punctual, and a team player with a positive attitude.
