Full Job Description

Overview

Nexora Recruitment Group is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst on behalf of a confidential U.S.-based client. The successful candidate will play a key role in budgeting, financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and business performance analysis while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain comprehensive financial projection models to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning initiatives.
Conduct variance analysis reporting to identify discrepancies between actuals and forecasts, providing actionable insights for management.
Prepare detailed financial statements, including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
Interpret complex financial data using business intelligence tools and Excel data analysis techniques to inform decision-making processes.
Perform cost accounting analyses to evaluate profitability across products, services, or business units.
Support internal controls by ensuring adherence to SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) requirements and assisting with audit preparations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial sales strategies, pricing models, and investment evaluations to optimize revenue streams.

Experience

Proven experience in financial analysis within a corporate environment, with a strong understanding of financial concepts such as budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting software.
Demonstrated expertise in IFRS or GAAP accounting standards and regulatory reporting requirements.
Hands-on experience with financial model development, including sensitivity analysis and scenario planning.
Strong data analysis skills utilizing Excel advanced functions and business intelligence tools for insightful reporting.
Background in public accounting or corporate finance is highly desirable.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
Knowledge of finance systems such as ERP or other accounting software platforms is preferred.
