Full Job Description

Position Overview

A confidential organization is seeking an experienced Recruiter to join its Human Resources team. The Recruiter will be responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process, developing qualified candidate pipelines, and partnering with hiring managers to support organizational staffing needs.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, professional, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This individual will serve as a key point of contact throughout the recruitment process and will help ensure a positive experience for both candidates and hiring teams.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the full-cycle recruitment process from job posting and candidate sourcing through interviewing, selection, pre-employment screening, and offer.
Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, provide recruitment updates, and recommend qualified candidates.
Develop and maintain candidate pipelines using a variety of recruitment and sourcing methods.
Post open positions through appropriate internal and external recruitment channels.
Review applications and resumes and conduct initial candidate screenings.
Coordinate and schedule candidate interviews, including both virtual and in-person interviews.
Communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment process and provide timely updates.
Coordinate pre-employment requirements, including applicable background checks, screenings, credentials, and other required documentation.
Prepare and coordinate employment offers in collaboration with Human Resources and hiring managers.
Monitor applicable licensing and credentialing requirements for positions as needed.
Maintain accurate candidate, applicant, and requisition information within the organization's applicant tracking and HR systems.
Establish and maintain relationships with external recruiting resources, staffing agencies, educational institutions, professional organizations, and other talent sources.
Attend career fairs, networking events, and other recruiting activities as needed.
Identify and implement opportunities to improve recruitment strategies, processes, and candidate experience.
Assist with the development and maintenance of recruitment policies, procedures, and best practices.
Prepare recruitment reports and provide hiring-related information to leadership as requested.
Collaborate with Human Resources and other internal teams to support a smooth transition from recruitment to onboarding.
Maintain confidentiality of candidate, employee, and organizational information.
Ensure recruitment activities are conducted in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, organizational policies, and best practices.
Participate in Human Resources projects and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
Equivalent education and relevant experience may be considered.
PHR, SHRM-CP, or other relevant professional certification preferred.

Experience

1–5 years of recruiting or Human Resources experience.
Experience with candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring processes preferred.

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of full-cycle recruitment and talent acquisition practices.
General knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Familiarity with professional recruitment practices and standards.
Experience using applicant tracking systems, HR systems, and standard office technology.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office or comparable office productivity software.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet established deadlines.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Work Environment

Primarily an office or professional work environment.
Some travel may be required for recruiting events, career fairs, or other business needs.
Regular use of computers, telephones, and other standard office equipment.
