Full Job Description

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Support outpatient pharmacy operations in a dynamic community care setting in Oakland, CA as a Pharmacy Technician on a per diem basis. This role is designed to provide coverage during staff absences, including sick days, vacations, and call-outs, offering flexible work opportunities with the potential for full-time positions in the future.

Location:

Oakland, CA

Schedule:

Monday through Saturday
8:30 AM to 5:00 PM

Responsibilities:

Perform retail pharmacy duties as directed by the Director of Pharmacy (DOP)
Assist pharmacists with prescription preparation and dispensing
Maintain accurate patient and prescription records
Provide exceptional customer service and answer medication-related inquiries
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

Valid California Pharmacy Technician License
Experience in retail pharmacy is preferred but candidates from any pharmacy background will be considered
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and customer service skills
