Full Job Description

Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Plant Manager to lead our manufacturing operations with enthusiasm and precision. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of plant performance, ensuring production efficiency, safety compliance, and quality standards are met or exceeded. Your leadership will inspire teams to operate at their best while maintaining a safe, compliant, and productive environment. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive professional eager to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence in a dynamic manufacturing setting.

Duties

Lead and coordinate daily manufacturing operations to meet production goals efficiently and safely while meeting quality and delivery targets
Implement and uphold safety standards in production environments, ensuring compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements
Evaluates and budgets the correct quantity and skill level of manpower, and supplies the necessary tools to enable each department to meet their objectives.
Ensures each department’s business plan is completed and executed according to NCA’s fiscal year schedule.
Conducts associate performance evaluations for the managers of these departments, and ensures the managers complete their associates’ performance evaluations according to the defined schedule.
Immediately reports any problems that may impact the customers’ production lines to the president of NCA.
Follows established quality system documentation relative to area of responsibility, (i.e. work instructions, procedures, forms, etc.), and completes required documentation completely and legibly.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing production data, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing process enhancements
Qualifications
Proven experience in manufacturing management or plant supervision with a strong understanding of injection molding
Knowledge of safety standards in production environments
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and promote a positive work environment
Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail in equipment maintenance and process optimization
Excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate across departments and ensure safety standards are understood and followed
