Full Job Description

As the Warehouse Clerk, you are essential to the safety, quality, and productivity of the warehouse. You will be responsible for communication and administration to support the efficient operation of our shuttle transportation business. The position will play a crucial role in helping to coordinate trucks, trailers, drivers, and customer priorities to ensure seamless material flow.

The successful candidate can stay calm under pressure, manage competing priorities, respond to customer requests, and solve problems in real time.

What You'll Do:

Communication and Coordination: Collaborate with supervisors to prioritize tasks and meet transportation goals. Maintain clear and effective communication channels with team members. Address inquiries from internal and external stakeholders professionally and promptly.
Administrative Duties: Assist in the allocation of tasks to drivers. Ensure that work is performed efficiently and in accordance with established procedures. Record and maintain accurate data, ensuring real-time tracking, accuracy and timeliness in preparing shipments. Generate and maintain documentation such as shipping labels, packing lists, and receipts. Organize and maintain paperwork, files, and records related to the shuttle transportation business.
Problem Solving: Identify and resolve issues related to shipping discrepancies, damaged goods, or delivery delays. Assist in finding solutions to improve the shuttle transportation business.
Safety: Ensure a safe working environment by upholding safety protocols and promoting a safety-first culture among all employees.

Additional Duties: Perform tasks as assigned to support dynamic changes in business conditions.

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, the Warehouse Clerk must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The following requirements are representative of the minimum knowledge, skill and ability required.

Education/Experience:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and excellent organization skills.
Commitment to promoting a positive workplace and safety-first culture.
Basic proficiency in using warehouse management software and Microsoft Office Tools.
Experience in warehouse operations.
Experience with or willingness to learn the use of material handling equipment a plus.
