Full Job Description

Site Administrative Coordinator (Manufacturing background required)

Location: Norcross, GA

- Work Schedule: Mon to Fri, 8 am - 3 pm (1h lunch)
- Hourly rate: 22$ - 26$ per hour
- Contract: W2 contract under staffing supplier, with 3-month duration (temp-to-hire)

We are seeking a versatile Administrative & Operations Coordinator to support our manufacturing facility. You will serve as the first point of contact for visitors, provide administrative support to plant leadership, and assist with HR, safety, and IT coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Front Office: Greet visitors/vendors, manage check-ins, conduct safety orientations, and distribute PPE.
Admin Support: Support the Plant Manager, HR, and Safety teams; manage site calendars, mail, and phone inquiries.
HR & Onboarding: Coordinate interview and onboarding schedules, issue uniforms, and provide backup support for time/attendance tracking (UKG).
Facilities & Logistics: Order office/cleaning supplies, handle basic requisitions, and coordinate IT equipment returns.

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma required. Higher level preferred.
Experience: 2-4 years of office experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
Tech Skills: Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access).
Core Skills: Strong communication, independent problem-solving, and a positive, flexible attitude.
Knowledge (Preferred): Familiarity with building materials terminology, basic HR procedures, and plant safety programs.
Environment: Comfortable working in a plant environment (exposure to heat/cold/industrial solvents), walking regularly, lifting boxes, and wearing PPE.
