Duties

Engage with potential clients through outside sales efforts, telemarketing, and community outreach to promote insurance products
Build and maintain strong customer relationships by understanding their needs and offering suitable insurance solutions
Conduct thorough analysis of client requirements to recommend appropriate health, life, property, or casualty insurance policies
Negotiate terms and coverage options with clients to secure mutually beneficial agreements
Manage sales administration tasks using CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools to track leads, follow-ups, and policy details
Provide clear explanations of insurance regulations, benefits administration, and policy features to clients in a bilingual or multilingual capacity if applicable
Assist clients with claims processing, policy renewals, and benefits inquiries to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction

Experience

Proven experience in outside sales or retail sales environments with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
Strong negotiation skills coupled with excellent communication abilities in bilingual or multilingual settings
Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce or similar platforms for managing client information and sales pipelines
Knowledge of commercial insurance products along with health, life, property, and casualty insurance policies
Understanding of insurance regulation standards and compliance requirements within the industry
Experience in customer service roles emphasizing client communication and relationship building
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for administrative tasks related to benefits administration and analysis skills

Position

Licensed Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance Agent

Responsibilities

Assist clients with auto, home, renters, and other P&C insurance needs
Provide quotes and explain coverage options
Generate new business and follow up with prospective clients
Cross-sell appropriate insurance products
Build and maintain strong client relationships
Provide excellent customer service
Meet individual and agency sales goals

Requirements

Active Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance License – REQUIRED
Strong communication and customer service skills
Motivated, dependable, and sales-oriented
Comfortable making outbound calls and following up with leads
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Previous insurance or sales experience preferred
