Job Overview

We are on the lookout for a passionate and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. In this role, you'll be at the heart of the kitchen, preparing fresh ingredients, cooking delicious dishes, and ensuring every plate meets our high standards. Whether you're slicing vegetables with precision or assisting in menu planning, your skills will help deliver memorable meals to our guests. Responsibilities

Prepare ingredients and assist in cooking dishes following established recipes and safety standards.
Support meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients using proper knife skills and slicing techniques.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, including proper food handling, sanitation, and storage practices.
Follow food safety protocols to ensure all meals are prepared in a hygienic environment.
Assist with menu planning and recipe adherence to maintain consistency across dishes.
Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and communicate clearly to ensure timely service during busy hours.

Skills

Experience in food service, restaurant kitchens, or the food industry is highly valued.
Knowledge of dietary department standards and dietary aide experience is a plus.
Strong food preparation skills, including knife handling and slicing techniques.
Familiarity with operating various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
Understanding of food safety management and hygiene regulations.
Ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain consistency in meal preparation.
Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork within a fast-paced environment.
