Full Job Description

Company Overview: Bergen Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery is a prominent surgical practice with four offices located throughout Bergen County, New Jersey. Our practice is committed to delivering high-quality surgical care to our patients and improving their overall health and well-being. We are looking for professional, compassionate team players to help us grow our practice and provide the best first impression to meet the needs of our oral surgery patients.

About the position:

This is a full-time position. We are looking for someone who is a strong leader than can take ownership of the office. You will be responsible for developing and building the office team. You are also in charge of getting the office to reach its goals. Your tasks will include overseeing the management of the office including Front Desk, hiring and firing, coaching employees, scheduling employees, running payroll, handling staff and patient issues, setting monthly goals, and much more. This role directly reports to the Assistant Operations Manager and maintains strong working relationships with VP of Operations, and Physicians.

Requirements:

Must have a minimum of 2 years of dental office managing experience.

Experience with WINOMS (Software) and CDT codes is a plus!

Ability to comply with safety procedures, privacy rules, and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Excellent leadership abilities include having outstanding communication. And the ability to motivate your team. Resolve issues with follow-through and timeliness.
Proficiency in Word and Excel.

Responsibility:

Build strong and productive partnerships with doctors, team members, and patients.
Ensure effective execution of operational standards, including compliance with established company policies. Communicates new directives, policies, or procedures to the team. Support and achieve performance targets and practice goals.
Enhance customer service and satisfaction.
Manage coverage for your team and vacation requests.
Daily huddle with all staff.
Make sure phones are answered and messages are checked hourly.
Generate and review treatment plans and follow up on accepted treatment plans weekly/monthly.
End of day and monthly reports are complete and verified.
Communicate daily with the call center to provide necessary information.
Maintain a positive teamwork environment.
Staff performance management. (Reviews, evaluations and staff accountability)
