Overview

LOOKING FOR A SPANISH SPEAKING PCA/CAREGIVER

Join our compassionate team as an In Home Caregiver and make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring personalized care and support. This vital role involves providing attentive, respectful, and professional assistance to clients in their own homes, promoting independence, safety, and well-being. Whether supporting seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those recovering from illness, you will be a trusted partner in their daily routines and health management. We are dedicated to fostering a positive environment where your caregiving skills can truly shine and grow.

Duties

Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
Monitor patient health by taking vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature; report changes to healthcare professionals
Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding if necessary
Administer medications accurately following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure patient safety and confidentiality
Support patients with mobility using equipment such as Hoyer lifts or transfer belts; perform heavy lifting when required
Maintain a clean and safe environment through light housekeeping tasks like cleaning, laundry, and organizing living spaces
Observe and document patient conditions, behaviors, and progress to inform care plans and communicate effectively with healthcare teams

Requirements

Prior experience in home care, assisted living, nursing home settings, or group homes is highly preferred
Certification in First Aid and CPR is required; additional training in Alzheimer's care, dementia care, hospice care, or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality at all times
Ability to work independently while following detailed care plans; excellent observational skills for patient monitoring
Physical stamina for activities such as heavy lifting, assisting with transfers, and long periods of standing or walking
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare providers
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are often necessary for home visits
