Job Overview

Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Assistant and play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting our clinical operations. In this energetic position, you will assist dentists during procedures, manage patient flow, and ensure the highest standards of infection control and clinical confidentiality. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a welcoming environment where patients feel comfortable and cared for. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, and prosthodontics while working with cutting-edge dental technology.

Responsibilities

Prepare treatment rooms with dental instruments, supplies, and equipment, ensuring all tools are sterilized according to infection prevention management protocols.
Assist dentists during a variety of procedures including oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry by providing chairside support.
Take dental x-rays and 3D scans using advanced medical imaging technology while maintaining strict adherence to dental sterilization procedures.
Manage patient records accurately within electronic medical records (EMR) systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or similar software, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and clinical confidentiality policies.
Monitor vital signs and assist in patient management before, during, and after treatments to promote comfort and safety.
Educate patients on oral health care practices and post-treatment instructions to enhance patient care outcomes.
Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment by processing dental instruments efficiently and following infection control standards aligned with healthcare infection prevention and control expertise.

Experience

Prior experience working in a dental clinic setting is preferred.
Familiarity with dental terminology, dental equipment operation, and medical documentation practices is highly advantageous.
Knowledge of EMR systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix Ascend enhances your ability to manage patient records effectively.
Understanding of infection prevention management, aseptic technique, and dental sterilization procedures ensures compliance with safety standards.
Experience supporting general dentistry procedures along with specialized areas like pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, or prosthodontics is a plus.
Strong communication skills combined with a passion for patient care will help you excel in this fast-paced environment dedicated to excellence in healthcare delivery.
