Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and energetic Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality ingredients and dishes that delight our guests. Your enthusiasm for food preparation and commitment to safety standards will help ensure a smooth kitchen operation, delivering exceptional dining experiences every day. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your culinary skills in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment where your contributions truly make a difference.

Duties

Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications
Conduct food preparation tasks such as slicing, dicing, chopping, and portioning ingredients with precision using proper knife skills and slicing techniques
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations in compliance with food safety standards in production and handling
Assist in menu planning by preparing ingredients needed for daily specials or upcoming events
Support the kitchen team during busy service hours by ensuring timely food production and plating
Follow safety standards in food handling, storage, and sanitation to uphold health regulations
Contribute to catering events by preparing large quantities of food while maintaining quality and presentation

Requirements

Previous experience in a food industry setting, including restaurant or dietary department roles, is highly preferred
Demonstrated culinary experience with skills in food preparation, cooking, and food service operations
Knowledge of safety standards in production, food handling, and food safety management practices
Strong knife skills with proficiency in slicing techniques and ingredient prep methods
Experience with meal preparation, menu planning, and catering is a plus
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Excellent attention to detail, cleanliness, and adherence to safety protocols
