BCC is looking for an experienced Superintendent:

Our Superintendent is on the job site daily. This position reports to the project manager of the project and is responsible for project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and progress of the project. This is a position that is responsible for new multi-family and commercial construction projects from the ground up.

You will be dealing with subcontractors and suppliers, maintaining the relationships with inspectors and be responsible for daily reporting of progress.

Responsibilities:

Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation
Allocate resources for assigned projects
Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors
Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs
Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications

Qualifications:

Previous experience in construction management or other related fields, multi-family and commercial projects
Previous experience with podium builds strongly recommended
Familiarity with construction management software
Strong scheduling skills for multi-million dollar projects.
Strong communication skills for working with subcontractors and suppliers on site.
Strong leadership qualities
Strong negotiation skills
Deadline and detail-oriented
