We are seeking an experienced Utility Pole Field Team Lead to lead our field inspection crews and help grow our statewide utility pole inspection program.

What You'll Do
As the Utility Pole Field Team Lead, you will provide technical leadership and oversee field inspection activities throughout Texas.
Leadership Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise utility pole inspection crews
- Train, mentor, and develop field inspectors
- Coordinate daily field operations, scheduling, and travel logistics
- Conduct daily safety briefings and promote a strong safety culture
- Review field data for quality, accuracy, and completeness
- Work closely with Aeparmia's engineering team and company leadership
- Represent Aeparmia professionally with utility clients
Field Responsibilities
- Perform and oversee distribution pole inspections in accordance with utility standards, ANSI O5.1, and NESC requirements
- Identify structural deficiencies, decay, damaged hardware, clearance issues, and other field conditions
- Collect inspection data using mobile applications and GIS-based field platforms
- Capture GPS locations and photographic documentation
- Complete production reports and inspection summaries
- Report critical safety or structural concerns to project management and utility clients
Minimum Qualifications
- 15 or more years of electric distribution utility experience
- Previous experience leading or supervising field crews
- Experience working for or supporting electric utilities, municipal utilities, electric cooperatives, or utility contractors
- Strong knowledge of distribution pole construction, inspections, and utility safety practices
- Experience identifying pole defects, structural deficiencies, and safety hazards
- Comfortable using tablets, mobile applications, GPS, and digital reporting tools
- Valid Texas driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to travel throughout Texas
- Must reside in Texas
